Our History

PG Tool was founded on December 15, 1965 by Paul and Mildred Geiger.  We are very proud to be able to celebrate our 55+ Years and are grateful to all of our customers, manufacturers and employees who have contributed to our ongoing success.

Paul’s experience in the power tool and distribution channel taught him many things. His entrepreneurship led him into the independent rep business in 1971 which transformed the company into what it is today.  His vision was to build a business where his children and employees would prosper and become leaders in an emerging market using independent sales agents.  Our focus continues to be the Construction and Industrial channels covering the Mid-Atlantic States.

PG Tool is well known in our industry for our knowledge, experience, dedication and enthusiasm.  We conduct ourselves as professionals and believe in a “Hands-On” approach through demonstration and training.  We utilize the latest technologies in our sales methods and continually strive to provide our customers consistent growth and strong market penetration. 

Meet the Team

Ray Geiger
President  
Territory Manager
Joined PG Tool in 1972 after attending college.  He came home to the opportunity of becoming a part of his family business that was just breaking ground in a field called “Manufacturer’s Reps”.  In addition to managing PG Tool’s sales force, Ray has his own territory responsibilities.  Ray enjoys being involved in all levels of the business, especially networking with his industry associates. He enjoyed his term serving on the STAFDA Rep Liaison Committee from November 2012- 2015.  He is also active on rep council groups as well as handling national accounts headquartered within our territory for several of our principals.  Ray prides himself on giving back to his community. He attributes his success to his family support and the leadership qualities he has learned from his mentors over the years.  In his spare time, Ray loves to fish or relax with his wife Deb at the beach in OCMD and explore the outdoors with his son.

Diane Geiger
Treasurer
Inside Sales
With a strong accounting and financial background, Diane joined her parents and brothers in the business in 1979. Her contributions to the agency have been numerous and seamless over the years. All of our PG contacts know that Diane is well versed and experienced with the products we sell every day. She has become the first line of contact at PG. If there is something you need, count on Diane to know where to find it. Embracing technology, Diane also works with our manufacturers on sell through programs, marketing and on-line sales training opportunities. Diane loves to travel and has used her tool knowledge for re-purposing many collectibles acquired on her road trips across the country.

Keith Sanders
VP Sales /

Introduced to the agency through the Geiger’s youngest son in 1986, Keith came from the automotive retail industry. His role for many years was inside sales. After PG exited the warehouse service industry in 1997, Keith asked to try his hand in outside sales and has put his product knowledge and kind nature to good use in building his territory and relationships in our industry. Keith met his wife Anne who worked upstairs from PG Tool and they now enjoy their four children and 6 grandchildren. The family loves to vacation at Myrtle Beach and Disney. Keith is also involved at Pitman Lodge 197 F&AM and is a Past Master.
Scott Buchanan
Territory Manager
Representing PG Tool Sales Agency effective June 20, 2016.  Scott’s background has been in distribution in the industrial market, and for the last 15 years has been an area manager in Specialty Field Services for new construction and maintenance. His experience in sales, marketing, safety training and product applications compliments our agency’s focus for the future. He has completed several safety courses along with certifications within our industry. Scott lives in our local area and covers part of Eastern PA and Southern NJ to include a piece of the greater Philadelphia market.
Gregg Geiger
Territory Manager

Gregg has been involved with PG Tool for several years now working behind the scenes developing our website and other marketing tools that have become essential in our business today.  He has embraced our hands-on business ideals and has been training with our vendors and working with our outside PG sales reps calling on customers and end users. Gregg is committed to bringing a greater awareness of our products and services to our valued customers.
